Business, podcast

This week Amanda chats with Jill Berger, founder and CEO of Lushra, an online party shop that prides itself in creating insta-worthy party products to help celebrate life’s special occasions. Lushra specializes in balloon installations and delivery in the Dallas area and styles events both large and small – they do it all for the gram! A born entrepreneur, Jill graduated from Texas Tech University with a double major in Marketing and Management. What started as a side hustle quickly turned into a full time job as Jill transitioned from her 8-5 job to keep up with the demand for Lushra full time.

“Quarantine really helped me find balance. As an entrepreneur the first couple years, your whole entire mindset and life is your business…don’t wait until you’ve ‘made it’ to feel successful to enjoy your life.”

Jill shares the many lessons she’s learned throughout her years in business– the good, bad, and the ugly. We learn the most through the difficult times and failures in our business, even when it doesn’t feel like it in the moment! She shares about what it’s like leading a business at a young age, especially when you’re the same age as the people you hire.
